Removing the door lock

A lock, a power window and a speaker are installed on the inner panel of the door.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «-» battery.
2. Slide protective cover 4 (see fig. Removing the front door) and disconnect the pads with wires from the front pillar.
3. Remove the door trim.
4. Remove the outside door handle.
5. Using a screwdriver, remove the two plugs from the inner panel 4 (see fig. Fixing the inner door panel) doors.
6. Lower glass of a door so that to get access to screws 1 fastenings of glass.
7. Loosen screws 1 and spread the clamps.
8. Raise the glass with your hands and secure it in this position by inserting a wedge between the glass and the door panel.
9. Unscrew the two bolts of the lock on the end of the door, shown in fig. Door lock bolts.
10. Loosen screws 2 and 3 (see fig. Fixing the inner door panel) fixing the inner door panel.
11. Remove the inner panel 4 by pulling it towards the front of the door.
12. Pull the wiring harness out of the door.
13. Prying off latch 1 with a screwdriver (see fig. Removing the door lock), remove lock 3 from holder 2.
14. Disconnect rod 1 (see fig. Disconnecting rods from the lock) door lock buttons by turning the lock as shown by the arrow.
15. Take out draft 3 of the internal handle from the holder 4 on the lock.
16. Turning the rod 3 by 90°, disconnect it from the lever 2.
17. Install the door lock in reverse order. When attaching the inner panel, tighten screws 3 first (see fig. Fixing the inner door panel).
