Brake system — general information

The car uses a dual-circuit brake system with a diagonal separation of circuits and a hydraulic drive.

The front brake mechanisms are installed in two types: FS III or FS II, each of which has a floating caliper with one piston. Rear brakes drum or disc.

The vehicle may be equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) or anti-lock braking system with additional features (ABS/ EDS/ ASR).

The parking brake is equipped with a cable drive to the rear brake pads.
