Attention! Brake discs must be replaced on both sides of the front suspension at the same time.
1. Remove the caliper from the steering knuckle without disconnecting the brake hose from it (see subsection 9.5.1).
2. Suspend the caliper on a wire from the suspension spring, making sure that the brake hose is not under tension, twisted or strongly bent.
3. Remove screw 15 (see fig. Front brake type FS III) brake disc mounting.
4. Moisten with fluid like WD 40 the junctions of the brake disc 14 with the hub 13. Wait a little for the rust to dissolve and remove the dirt and rust.
5. Remove the brake disc 14 from the hub. If difficult to remove, tap the disc with a rubber or polymer mallet.
6. Thoroughly clean hub 13.
7. Install a new disk 14 and screw in the screw 15 of its fastening.
8. Install the caliper on the steering knuckle in reverse order, having first pressed the piston with the help of a special tool or, in its absence, with a wooden hammer handle. At the same time, press the piston evenly at different points around the entire circumference, making sure that the piston does not warp.
9. Install the wheel. Final tighten the wheel bolts only with the vehicle on the ground.
10. Press the brake pedal several times to bring the pistons into position.
11. Check and, if necessary, add brake fluid to the required level in the reservoir.
