Operating tires with worn or damaged tread can lead to an accident, so check the condition of the tires periodically. Remove foreign objects stuck in tire treads.
Check tire pressure periodically (at least once a month or before a long trip). The required tire pressure is indicated on the label on the inside of the fuel filler cap. Check pressure on cold tyres.
Attention! Under-inflated tires wear out the tread faster and increase fuel consumption.
Drive over curbs or other obstacles at low speed and as straight as possible to avoid damaging tires and rims.
Be aware that hard acceleration and deceleration accelerates tire wear.
If possible, keep fuel and oils out of the tires.
In order to avoid contamination of the spools, do not operate the vehicle without protective caps. If the caps have been lost, be sure to install new ones.
If you feel a vibration or pull to one side while driving, stop and check your tires. Wheel with defective tire (cracks, bulges, etc.) replace. If there are no visible defects in the tire, immediately contact a service station.
Carry out all wheel repair work in a specialized workshop. Check that the wheel is balanced after repair.
Install on the vehicle only those tires and wheels recommended by the manufacturer.
It is recommended to change both tires on the axle at once. Fit tires with a deeper tread pattern to the front wheels.
Install radial tires of the same type, size and tread pattern on all wheels of the vehicle.
Warning! Never install tires from unknown manufacturers, especially if they are worn out. Use tires that have been stored for more than 6 years only when absolutely necessary. In this case, observe special precautions when operating the vehicle.
In winter, use tires with the correct tread pattern on all four wheels. The vehicle's snow performance decreases when the tread wears to a depth of less than 4 mm.
Snow chains can be mounted on tires of all sizes except 195/50 R15 (they must be replaced with 185/55 R15 tires). It is allowed to use chains, the width of the links of which does not exceed 15 mm. When installing chains, the wheel trims must be removed.
Store tires in a dry, cool, dark place. Tires that are not mounted on rims should be stored in an upright position.
