Attention! The rear oil seal is replaced only in assembly with the holder.
Attention! The stuffing box must be made of PTFE material, the hallmark of such a stuffing box is a multi-profile sealing lip (see fig. crankshaft oil seal) and no spring. Before installation, do not lubricate the seal lip and shaft, they must be dry and clean.
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Remove the clutch.
3. Remove bolts 5 (see fig. Installation of crankshaft seals) and remove flywheel 4.
4. Remove the shield 6 of the clutch housing.
5. Remove the engine oil sump (see subsection 3.1).
6. Turn away bolts 7 of fastening and remove the holder 8 with an epiploon.
7. Install a new holder with gland. At the same time, do not remove the guide sleeve from the oil seal; move the holder with the oil seal along the crankshaft along this sleeve. Screw in bolts 7, then remove the guide sleeve from the crankshaft.
8. Install all removed parts in reverse order.
Petrol engines 1.0 l, 37 kW and 1.4 l, 50 kW
1. Remove the gearbox.
2. Remove the clutch.
3. Holding the crankshaft from turning, unscrew the bolts 6 (see fig. Cylinder block for 1.0 l, 37 kW and 1.4 l, 50 kW engines) fasteners and remove the flywheel 5.
4. Take out the old stuffing box 7 using an O-ring remover or by picking it up with a screwdriver. Wipe the oil seal seats on the crankshaft and in the holder 8 with a clean rag. If you cannot remove the old oil seal, you can remove the holder 8.
5. Lubricate the lip and outer surface of the new oil seal with engine oil.
6. Press the new oil seal into the holder 8 until it stops, with the working lip inward.
7. Install all parts in reverse order.
