Engines 1.4 l, 55 and 74 kW
1. Drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
2. Remove the oil pan (see subsection 3.1).
3. Remove three bolts 24 (see fig. Details of the engine lubrication system 1.4 l, 55 and 74 kW) fastening the oil receiver 25 to the cylinder block and the oil pump. Remove the oil receiver and its gasket 23.
4. Remove the camshaft drive belt and crankshaft pulley 20 (see subsection 2.4.2).
5. Unscrew bolts 14 and remove oil pump 13 with gasket 22.
6. Remove dirt and rinse the oil receiver mesh with white spirit. If the screen cannot be cleaned or is damaged, replace the oil receiver.
7. Install the new pump in reverse order, replacing gaskets 22 and 23 with new ones.

Diesel engines
1. Drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
2. Remove the oil pan (see subsection 3.1).
3. Remove front cover 5 (see fig. Parts of the diesel engine lubrication system) cylinder block (see subsection 2.10).
4. Loosen the tightening bolt of the tensioner 7.
5. Take aside the tensioner 7 and remove the chain 4 of the oil pump drive.
6. Unscrew the bolts 6 and remove the bulkhead 16 of the oil crankcase with the oil pump 1 as an assembly.
7. Remove dirt and rinse the oil receiver mesh with white spirit. If the screen cannot be cleaned or it is damaged, replace the oil receiver 15. To do this, unscrew the two bolts securing the oil receiver to the pump. When installing the oil receiver, replace the sealing ring 14.
8. Replace gear 2 with damaged teeth. To do this, while holding the gear from turning, unscrew the bolt 3.
9. Install the new pump in reverse order.
