On the wheels, which use steel discs, decorative large-sized caps are fixed. They cover the entire disc up to the rim flange, on which it finds the outer tongue-shaped edge of the cap. The cap is fastened with several elastic plastic caps to the protective radial protrusions on the rim. To fasten plastic caps and increase their pressure, an elastic steel wire ring is inserted along the entire internal contour, snapped into the spikes of the caps.
Wheels with aluminum rims are not covered with plastic caps.
