It attaches to the cylinder head on the front side (in the direction of travel). It is mounted on screwed-in studs and tightened with self-locking nuts with a copper-plated surface. A metal-plastic seal is inserted between the manifold and the bearing surface of the cylinder head. The four branches of the collector are connected in front of the lower mounting flange in two holes. Four studs are screwed into the flange to fit and secure the front of the exhaust.
