Adapting the corrective values of the injectors

Function "Correction of the amount of injected fuel (IMA) " designed to individually adjust the amount of fuel injected by the Common Rail system into each cylinder within the control range. 7-digit adaptation codes are printed on each injector.

The applied code may consist of letters and/or numbers.

After replacing an injector, the adaption code must be written to the engine control unit. When replacing the engine control unit, the injector adaptation codes" must be transferred to the new control unit. In addition, check all injectors for "correction of injection quantity (IMA) " for the correct entry of all adaptation data. If correct correction values are stored in the engine control unit, they must not be re-entered. The adaptation process is described in the "Guided Fault Finding"".
