Removal and installation of the fuel rail

Removal of high pressure pipelines between the fuel rail and injection pump. Release fuel return hose -1-. Open retaining clips -arrows-, detach and remove guide well -2-.



Disconnect electrical connectors.



1. Fuel pressure sender -G247-
3. Fuel pressure regulator -N276-

Loosen clamp -4- and remove fuel return hose. Unscrew union nuts -2- for high-pressure lines. Lay the removed high-pressure lines on a clean cloth. Remove screws -arrows- and remove fuel rail.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Observe all instructions for installing high-pressure pipes.
