Battery disconnection

Switch off all electrical consumers, switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the lock. Open the cover of the heat shield. Open cover -1-, loosen nut -3- and only then disconnect battery earth cable -2-.

Note: If both terminals are disconnected, then first disconnect the pole terminal (-) battery mass.
