Driving mode selection
Driving mode selection button: Octavia, Combi/Octavia RS, Combi RS
The driving mode selection menu allows you to select between Normal, Sport, Eco, and Individual, which is personalized. The driving mode selection menu is opened in the Infotainment display by pressing the button with the symbol

When you select any other driving mode, except for normal, the

symbol lights up in the key.
Normal mode
For systems that depend on the driving mode, the normal setting is adopted. This mode is suitable for everyday driving.
Sports mode
This mode is suitable for a sporty driving style. The choice of this mode affects, first of all, the following systems.
Engine (drive unit)
The gas pedal responds faster to pressing, acceleration is more dynamic than in Normal mode. The automatic transmission is set to mode S. The noise from the engine in this mode is felt more than in normal (1) mode.

Steering
The gear ratio of the power steering is reduced, more effort is required to turn the steering wheel.
Adaptive cruise control (ACC)
When the adaptive cruise control is on, acceleration is smoother than in normal mode.
Adaptive lighting (AFS)
The headlights adjust more dynamically than in Normal mode.
