The fatigue recognition system advises the driver to take a break based on the driving behavior. The system signals the need for a break at speeds of 65-200 km/h. After switching on the ignition, the system evaluates the nature of the vehicle control within 15 minutes. This baseline is then constantly compared with the current driving behavior of the vehicle. When the system recognizes deviations from the normal driving behavior due to possible driver fatigue, it recommends taking a break. The system deletes the stored basic assessment of the vehicle's driving behavior if one of the following conditions is met: the vehicle stops, the ignition is turned off, the vehicle stops, the seat belt is unfastened, the driver's door is opened, the stop lasts longer than 15 minutes. If none of these conditions is met or the driving style has not changed, the system recommends taking a break again after 15 minutes. This function can be activated or deactivated in the Infotainment system.
