Attention! Make sure that when locking the vehicle, there are no people in it from the outside, since it will be impossible to lower the windows from the passenger compartment if necessary. The system has a force limiting function. If there is an obstacle, the closing process is suspended and the glass lowers a few centimeters. However, care must be taken when closing the windows - risk of injury! If there are children in the back seat, it is recommended to turn off the power window buttons in the rear doors (switch S). The power window mechanism is equipped with overheating protection. If the glass is repeatedly opened and closed, this protection may work. This leads to temporary blocking of the power window mechanism. As soon as the mechanism has cooled down and the overheating protection has turned off, the glass can be opened and closed again.

Force limitation
The power window system has a force limiting function. This feature reduces the risk of pinching and injury when closing the windows. In the presence of an obstacle, closing is suspended and the glass lowers a few centimeters. If an obstacle prevents the window from closing for the next 10 seconds, closing is interrupted again and the window lowers a few centimeters. If you try to close the window again within 10 seconds of lowering the window again, even though the obstruction has not been removed, the lift will be blocked. In this case, the automatic window lifting is not possible, the force limiting function remains active. The force limit will only deactivate when you try to close the glass again within the next 10 seconds - the glass will now close with full force! If more than 10 seconds elapse, the force limiting function will reactivate.
