Some functions of the information system can be controlled using the buttons on the steering column switch or on the multifunction steering wheel, Outside temperature
The display shows the current outside temperature. If the outside temperature drops below +4°C while driving, the symbol
appears in front of the temperature indicator (ice hazard warning) and a beep sounds. If the outside temperature is below +4°C when the ignition is switched on, the £ symbol appears on the display and an audible signal sounds. After pressing key B or knob D, the last of the previously presented functions is displayed.

Gear recommendations
To reduce fuel consumption as much as possible, the display shows a recommendation to shift to another gear if necessary. When the system recognizes that it is more profitable to shift to another gear, an arrow appears next to the gear indicator and the recommended gear B. For example, when the display shows a combination of symbols 4-5, this means that it is more profitable to shift from 4th gear to 5- th transmission. Recommendations for gear selection are provided only for vehicles with manual transmission, or for vehicles with automatic transmission when driving in manual gear shift mode (tiptronic mode).
Attention! For choosing the right gear» in a given traffic situation, for example, when overtaking, the driver always answers.
Warning about open doors, hood, trunk lid
If at least one door, boot lid or hood is open, the display shows the vehicle with the corresponding door, boot lid or hood open. If one of the doors is open while driving at speeds above 6 km/h, an audible signal sounds.
Tips for economical driving
To achieve the minimum fuel consumption on the display (1) recommendations to reduce fuel consumption may be displayed. Recommendations for economical driving are preceded by the inscription ECO-TIP. For example, when the air conditioner is on and the windows are down, the following message is displayed: ECO-advice Clim. setting is enabled. Raise the windows. The display of advice for economical driving must be activated in the infotainment system.
Indication of the direction of movement relative to the cardinal points
In vehicles with standard navigation system on the display (1) the abbreviation of the corresponding cardinal direction is displayed (depending on the current direction of travel).

The indication of the direction relative to the cardinal points only works when the ignition is on.
Note: The cardinal directions indication may be presented at the top or bottom of the display, depending on the nature of the other information being displayed.
