Contents of the tire repair kit
1. Tool for removing/installing the spool
2. Decal sticker «Max. 80 km/h» or «Max. 50 mph»
3. Filling hose with plug
4. Compressor
5. Inflating hose for tire
6. Tire pressure display
7. Screw plug for air release
8. Switch
9. Cable connector for 12 V socket
10. Sealant bottle
11. Spare spool
At the lower end of the unscrewing tool 1 there is a groove for the spool. It is possible to unscrew the spool of the valve and screw it back only with this device. This also applies to the spare spool 11.
Sealing
Shake the sealant bottle 10 vigorously several times. Screw the hose 3 firmly clockwise onto the bottle 10. The hose pierces the sealing foil. Remove the plug from hose 3 and put the free end on the tire valve all the way. Holding bottle 10 upside down, pour all of the sealant into the tire. Disconnect the empty cylinder from the valve. Using tool 1, screw the spool back into the valve.
Pumping up
Firmly screw compressor hose 5 to the tire valve. Check that the air bleed plug is screwed on. 7. Start the engine and let it idle. Plug connector 9 into a 12V socket. Turn on the compressor with switch 8. Inflate the tire to 2.0-2.5 bar. The maximum allowed running time of the compressor is 8 minutes! Turn off the compressor. If it is not possible to inflate the tire to 2.0-2.5 bar, unscrew hose 5 from the tire valve. Move the vehicle 10 meters forward or backward so that the sealant «distributed» by bus. Reattach hose 5 to the valve and repeat inflation. If it was not possible to inflate the tire to the required pressure, then the puncture is too large. The tire cannot be sealed with the repair kit. Turn off the compressor. Unscrew hose 5 from the tire valve. If the tire has been inflated to a pressure of 2.0-2.5 bar, you can continue driving at a speed of no more than 80 km / h. Check tire pressure 10 minutes after driving.
Attention! The hose and the compressor may become hot during inflation! Do not cover the hot hose and compressor with flammable materials! If the tire is not inflated to at least 2.0 bar, then the puncture is too large. Sealant is not able to seal such a tire. Stop moving! Contact the service station. Switch off the compressor no later than after 8 minutes of operation, overheating is possible! Allow the compressor to cool down for a few minutes before restarting. Check tire pressure 10 minutes after driving!
If the pressure is 1.3 bar or less
Don't keep moving, stay where you are! It was not possible to seal the tire using the kit.
If the pressure is 1.3 bar or more
Raise the pressure to normal (see sticker on the inside of the fuel filler flap). At a speed of no more than 80 km/h, drive carefully to the nearest workshop.
