Carefully remove the old combustion chamber seal -8- by cutting the ring with a knife and removing it.
Note: Take care not to damage the O-ring groove. If the groove is damaged, the nozzle must be replaced.
Installation
Clean the hole in the cylinder head with a cylindrical nylon brush -T10133/4-.
Note: Replace the combustion chamber O-ring and injector O-ring. Replace spacer ring if damaged.
When reinstalling the nozzle, it is necessary to clean the groove of the sealing ring of the combustion chamber and the nozzle rod with a clean rag from the combustion products. Fit assembly cone -T10133/5- with new combustion chamber seal -1- onto injector -2-.
Using mounting sleeve -T10133/6-, push combustion chamber sealing ring as far as possible onto mounting cone -T10133/5-.
Turn assembly sleeve -T10133/6- over and push combustion chamber sealing ring into its groove with the other side.
Note: Sliding over the nozzle expands the sealing ring of the combustion chamber. Therefore, after installation in the groove, this ring must be crimped in 2 stages, as described below.
Fit calibration sleeve -T10133/7- with a slight twist (OK. 180°) on the nozzle to the stop. Remove calibration sleeve -T1O133/7- by turning it the other way.
Fit calibration sleeve -T10133/8- with a slight twist (OK. 180°) on the nozzle to the stop. Remove calibration sleeve -T10133/8- by turning it the other way. Install support ring -4- and spacer ring -2- on injector -1-.
Lubricate new O-ring -3- with clean engine oil before installing injector -1-.
Note: The combustion chamber seal -8- must not be lubricated.
Press the injector with your hand into the hole in the cylinder head as far as it will go (free of oil and grease). Monitor the correct position of the injectors in the cylinder head.
Note: The nozzle must be easy to insert, if necessary, wait until the combustion chamber sealing ring is sufficiently compressed. Make sure the injectors are tight and in the correct mounting position in the cylinder block.
The electrical connector of the injector must fit into the groove provided for this purpose in the cylinder head. Install the fuel rail. Install intake manifold. Connect the tester and select "Delete injector adaptation values" in the Guided functions". Switch off the ignition.
