Firmly press the screwdriver -1- against the surface -2- of the O-ring -arrow B-. Lever out sealing ring -arrow A-. Clean sliding and sealing surfaces.
Coat mating surface of balance shaft -2- with engine oil. Fit new oil seal -1- onto balancer shaft. Inscription („Outside") -Arrow- must point outward to be readable.
Attention! Thread damage hazard, The drive pulley screw has a left-hand thread.
Insert drift -T10353/1- into sealing ring -1- and press screw -2- into cylinder block as far as it will go without tilting it. Install the water pump drive toothed belt.
