Note. A layer of glue on the body opening is necessary as a basis for applying a fresh adhesive joint. Remove dirt and oil products from the glue cut.
Attention. If the glass is not installed immediately after cutting off the adhesive layer, the seal will need to be activated using a special activator (0 181 801 A1).
Attention. Avoid getting the activator on the body, otherwise damage to the paintwork may occur.
If the weld (3) on the flange of the metal body panel (4) will not be covered with a layer of glue (1), it is necessary to apply, on this seam, a special primer (D 009 200 02), then apply a layer of glue (DH 009 100 A2), as shown in the figure below.
