Removing
1. Remove the decorative tailgate lock cover (3), shown in the figure below.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the tailgate lock control (1), as shown in the figure below.
3. Loosen the fastening nuts shown in the figure below (2) and remove the tailgate lock (1). The tightening torque of the fastening nuts during installation is 21 Nm.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
