Removing
1. Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.
2. Remove windshield wiper arms (for details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
3. Remove the expansion tank of the engine cooling system (for details, see the relevant section in the chapter Cooling system).
4. Remove the body cross member cover.
5. Unscrew the fastening screws (arrows), shown in the figure below. The tightening torque of the fastening screws during installation is 7 Nm.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the windshield wiper drive motor.
7. Pull in the direction of the engine compartment and remove the windshield wiper motor together with the rods and levers (2), as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
When installing, insert the axle (2) in silent block (1), as shown in the figure below.
