Removing
1. Loosen the fastening nut (1) and remove the wire «masses» from the body, as shown in the figure below.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (2), as shown in the figure below.
3. Remove the plastic cover and disconnect the wire (3) (conclusion 30) from the pull-in winding.
Vehicles with manual transmission
4. Remove the soundproofing cover.
5. Loosen the fastening nut (1) and put aside the holder (2) together with the wiring harness, as shown in the figure below. If necessary, disconnect the reversing light harness connector (3), as shown in the figure below.
6. Loosen the gearbox shift lever (if 02T).
7. Unscrew the fastening bolts (arrows) and remove the starter assembly (1), as shown in the figure below. Mounting torque during installation: 80 Nm.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
Note. Always use new self-locking fastening nuts after disassembly (1) And (3).
Fastening torques:
- (1) 20 Nm.
- (2) 16-20 Nm.
