1. Turn on your hazard warning lights and steer your vehicle to the side of the road. Stop the vehicle, place the manual transmission lever in neutral or the automatic transmission lever in position «R» and apply the parking brake.
2. Refer to chapter «Daily checks and troubleshooting» to identify the causes of engine overheating.
3. If the cause of the engine overheating is so serious that it cannot be eliminated by the methods proposed in the manual, contact the evacuation service to deliver the vehicle to a service station.
Attention.
- Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine or radiator is hot. Boiling coolant and steam can escape under pressure. This may cause serious injury.
- If the engine is constantly overheating, the cooling system should be checked and the fault repaired at a specialized service station.
