The most effective protection is provided by a head restraint if its upper edge is in line with the crown of your head.
Adjusting the height of the head restraints
- Grab the head restraint from the sides with both hands and slide it up or down as needed in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure above.
- If you want to move the head restraint of the front seats down, you also need to press the lock shown in the figure.
- If you want to shove the rear seat head restraints all the way down, you must also press the latch.
Headrest inclination
- The headrest can be adjusted to the person's head by tilting it. As a result of the adaptation of the headrest, comfort for the passenger is increased.
Removing and installing the head restraint
- Pull the head restraint out of the seat back until it stops (at the rear seat headrest, fold the seat back down).
- Pull the head restraint outward by pressing the locking latch in the direction of the arrow.
- When reinstalling, slide the head restraint down into the backrest until you hear a click.
Note.
- The position of the head restraints of the front seats is adjustable in height and it is possible to tilt them, the rear outer head restraints are adjustable in height. The rear center headrest is adjustable in two positions.
- Adjust the position of the head restraints to the height of the users. Properly adjusted head restraints, in combination with seat belts, provide effective protection for vehicle occupants.
Active head restraints
The front seats can be optionally equipped with active head restraints, which increase the protection of the cervical spine of passengers in rear impacts.
Attention.
- The head restraints must be properly adjusted so as not to endanger human health in the event of a traffic accident.
- Never start driving with the head restraints removed - risk of injury.
- If the rear seats are occupied by passengers, the head restraints must not be adjusted to the lower position.
