Attention.
- Never stop the engine until the vehicle has come to a complete stop - risk of accident!
- The brake booster only works when the engine is running. If you brake with the engine stopped, you need to apply more force to the brake pedal. Since you cannot stop the car in the usual way, you are at risk of a traffic accident and serious injury.
Attention. After a relatively long increased engine load, do not switch off the engine immediately after the end of the movement, but leave the engine running at an idle speed of approx. 2 minutes. Thus, prevent overheating of the stopped motor.
Note.
- After the ignition is turned off, the coolant fan may continue to operate for approximately 10 minutes. The fan may restart even after a relatively long period of time if the coolant temperature has increased as a result of heat build-up or if the engine has become hotter due to strong sunlight.
- For this reason, carry out work in the engine compartment with extreme caution.
