Diesel engines are equipped with a preheater (incandescent), the duration of which automatically adapts to the coolant temperature and the outside temperature After the ignition is switched on, the preheat warning light comes on (incandescent) .
During preheating (incandescent) do not turn on any electrical consumers in order to avoid unnecessary load on the battery.
Start the engine as soon as the preheater warning light goes out (incandescent).
When the engine is warm or at temperatures above +5°C, the warning light comes on for about a second. This means that the engine can be started immediately.
If the engine does not start within 10 seconds, stop attempting to start and try again after approximately 30 seconds
If the engine does not start even on the second attempt to start, the preheater fuse may be blown (incandescent). Check the fuse and, if necessary, replace it.

Starting the engine after the fuel tank is completely empty:
After completely emptying the fuel tank and then refueling with diesel fuel, starting the diesel engine may take longer than usual - up to one minute. This is due to the fact that during the start-up, the power system must first be filled.
