For safe and efficient repair work, use hand tools, power tools (only for disassembly) and recommended special attachments.
Cover the fenders, upholstery and flooring with special protective covers before servicing the vehicle. Then make sure that keys, fasteners and buttons do not leave scratches on the paintwork.
Use protective clothing and impermeable gloves whenever possible.
Do not put oiled rags in pockets.
Avoid soiling clothing, especially underwear, with oil.
It is forbidden to wear heavily oiled clothes and shoes soaked with oil. Work clothes should be cleaned regularly.
Open cuts and wounds must be treated immediately in accordance with the rules of first aid.
After work, wash your hands with soap and make sure that there are no traces of oil left on them. Skin care formulations containing lanolin help restore the skin's natural oils removed when the oil was washed away
Do not use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel or solvents to clean leather.
Seek medical attention immediately if signs of skin disease occur.
If there is a risk of contact with contaminants in the eyes, use eye protection: goggles or face shields. In addition, conditions must be created so that, if necessary, it is possible to rinse the eyes with a large amount of running water.
