Removing
Note
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring devices, as well as auxiliary means.
- Stop bolt -T10060A- or 4 mm hexagon socket wrench.
1. Mark the direction of movement of the poly V-belt for the attachment drive
2. Loosen the tensioner of the poly V-belt for the implement drive.
Vehicles without air conditioning
3. Tilt the tensioner to the side with an open-end wrench in the direction of the arrow, as shown in the figure below.
4. Use the stop bolt -10060A- or a 4 mm Allen key to fix the tensioning element as shown in the figure below.
Cars with air conditioning
5. Tilt the tensioner to the side with a ring wrench in the direction of the arrow, as shown in the figure below.
6. Fix tensioner with stop bolt -T10060A- or 4 mm hexagon wrench (1), as shown in the figure below.
Continuation for all cars
7. Remove loose V-ribbed attachment drive belt.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
Note.
- Before proceeding with the installation of the V-ribbed belt, you should check the installation strength of all units (alternator, liquid cooling pump or also an air conditioning compressor), pulleys, tensioners and rollers.
- When installing the V-ribbed belt, it is necessary to observe the correct direction of its movement and the correct installation of the belt on the pulleys and rollers.
2. Put the V-ribbed belt on the crankshaft pulley. Then put the belt on the tension roller.
3. Check the correct position of the V-ribbed belt on the pulleys.
4. Start the engine and check the operation of the V-ribbed belt for the attachment drive.
