Outer Hinge Branch
1. Clamp the drive shaft in a vise with protective jaws.
2. Unscrew the cuff.
3. Separate the constant velocity joint with a mandrel -A- from the drive shaft. The mandrel must be installed directly on the cross (clutch) external hinge of equal angular velocities.

4. Using a plastic mallet, carefully tap onto the shaft until the circlip locks into place.

5. Beat off the protective cuff of the hinge with a mandrel.
6. To take a lock ring.
7. After removing the clamping collars, move the protective cuff of the hinge to the outer hinge.
