Removal and installation of a saloon rear-view mirror

1. To remove the rearview mirror (2 to resist. illustrations) without rain sensor turn it in the direction of the arrow (A) and remove from the retaining plate (1). Installation is in the reverse order.



2. To remove the rear-view mirror with rain sensor, separate the halves from each other (1 and 3 on resist. illustrations) and remove them, then pull the support (5) with a mirror (2) down from the retaining plate (8) and unplug the connectors (4 and 6) rain sensor (7).

Note: If the rain sensor is removed from the retaining plate (e.g. when replacing a windshield), it can be reinstalled later, provided that it has been kept dust-free and the silicone pad is not contaminated.
