Ambient light switch and headlight range control
1. To remove the outdoor lighting switch, set it to the position "0", push it hard (1 per resist. illustrations) and turn slightly clockwise (2). While holding the handle in this position, pull the switch in the opposite direction of the arrow (1) and disconnect the connector. To install the switch, dock the connector, turn the handle to the position "0" and gently push the switch in until it audibly clicks into place.

2. To remove the headlight range control and instrument illumination dimmer, remove the outdoor lighting switch (see paragraph 1), squeeze the tabs from the inside (arrows on resist. illustrations) and push out the regulator (A) out of the frame.

Steering column switches for models up to 05.2010
3. Remove the steering wheel and covers of the steering column (see chapter 10).
4. Remove the control unit in the steering column and the coil spring (see Section 14).
5. Unhook the locking tabs (arrows on resist. illustrations) with feeler gauge 1.0 mm (1) and remove the steering column switch in the direction of the arrow (A).

Steering column switches for models from 06.2010
6. Remove the steering wheel and steering column trim covers (see chapter 10).
7. Remove return ring with coil spring (see Section 14).
8. Insert a small screwdriver through the opening in (And on the opposite illustrations) and unhook the lower locking tab. Then press the upper locking tabs (IN) and push the steering column switch assembly out of the holder on the steering column lock in the direction of the arrows (WITH).
