Top hatch service

1. When sliding and raising/lowering the roof hatch, pay attention to the absence of excessive noise and pollution. If so, open the top hatch and follow the steps below.

2. Clean the guides under the outer seal (A, arrows on resist. illustrations) and apply a thin layer of lithium grease G052 147A2 to the sliding surfaces of the guides (arrows).



3. Inspect the deflector (1 per resist. illustrations) and especially its lower part (arrows) for the absence of contamination. Use the VAS5128 cleaner to remove dirt. Use a sponge and soap solution to remove insects from the mesh and deflector frame (3 drops of washing liquid per 1 liter of water), then remove the insects with a vacuum cleaner, preventing dirt from entering the car interior.

Note: Do not use other insecticides as they are not tested for deflector material.
