Replacing Haldex Clutch Fluid

1. Haldex clutch and rear differential have separate oil circuits. Don't confuse plugs (see illustration 4.41d), so as not to accidentally fill the wrong liquid.

2. Jack up the vehicle horizontally and place it on jack stands. Place a container under the Haldex coupling to collect the escaping fluid.

3. Remove the drain plug (B in Figure 4.41d) and allow the fluid to drain, then tighten the drain plug with a new seal to 30 Nm.

4. Remove the filling plug (And in illustration 4.41d) and prime the Haldex coupling as described in Section 4.
