2.1 Hole in DSG
2. If the DSG covers are removed, or if there is no working fluid in the DSG, do not start the engine or tow the vehicle with the front wheels off the ground.
3. Thoroughly clean the area around the bolts and the connection points before removing the bolts.
4. When installing the DSG, make sure that the guide bushings fit correctly between the engine and transmission.
5. Install only clean parts. Remove new parts from packaging just before installation. Place the removed parts on a clean surface and cover them. Use plastic bags and paper or lint-free rags.
6. If repair cannot be done immediately, cover the parts.
7. Features of work with seals, fixing parts, nuts and bolts are specified in Section 2 of Chapter 6.
8. Before touching the control box, always discharge yourself from static electricity by touching a grounded metal object.
9. DSG has two oil circuits, one for the mechanical part and the other for the block "Mechatronic". Different circuits use different fluids.
10. The drained working fluid must not be reused.
