The range of models described includes five-door Hatchback and Estate versions, three-door Van models and two-door Pickup models. The body is made of stamped steel. Most of its components are welded on, but the front fenders are bolted on so they can be easily replaced in the event of an accident. The rear doors are equipped with lockable locks.
During assembly, the body is subjected to a four-stage pre-treatment process. First, a base layer is applied to it by electrolysis, then a primer layer, paint and varnish are applied on it. The bottom is coated with polyvinyl chloride, and then a layer of protective wax. All frame components, hollow parts and sills will be injected with a special liquid wax.
Plastics are widely used, mainly in the interior, but also in external components such as bumpers.
