Removing
Mudguards
1. Mudguards are attached with bolts and union nuts. Loosen the bolts and remove the splash guards.
Roof gutter
2. The gutter molding is attached to the roof with brackets and can be removed with a lever. Be careful not to break it or damage the paint.
Anti-contact side stripes
3. Apply adhesive tape along the edge of the strip to be removed to fit the strip in exactly the same place when installing.
4. By blowing hot air, heat the strip so that its adhesive layer softens enough to be removed. Be careful not to damage the paint with hot air.
Front company emblem
5. The front emblem is held in position by several one-piece molded plastic tabs.
6. To remove the emblem, gently wring it out with a thin knife, being careful not to damage the emblem and tabs.
Rear emblems
7. Rear emblems and badges are glued on. To remove them, or soften the adhesive with hot air (being careful not to damage the paint), or «cut through» with a piece of thin nylon rope.
Installation
Mudguards
8. Install in reverse order.
Roof gutter
9. Install in reverse order. Make sure the gutter is securely pressed against the roof.
Anti-contact side stripes
10. Wash off all traces of glue using a special solvent «White Spirit». then wash the area with warm soapy water to remove all traces of the solvent. Make sure the surface to which the new strip is to be attached is absolutely clean.
11. Use hot air to soften the adhesive on the new strip, then press it firmly into position using the adhesive tape as a guide. Peel off the adhesive tape when the strip is attached.
Front emblem
12. To install the front emblem, simply insert its tabs into the holes in the body and press firmly on the emblem.
Rear emblems and badges
13. Wash off all traces of glue using a special solvent «White Spirit», then rinse the area with warm molar water to remove all traces of solvent. Make sure the surface to which the new emblem is to be attached is absolutely clean.
14. Use hot air to soften the adhesive on the new emblem, then press it into place.
