6. Carefully inspect the webbing of the seat belt for cuts, severe abrasions or soiling. If the seat belt has a self-winding mechanism, pull the belt out completely and inspect it along its entire length.
7. The seat belts are designed to lock in the event of a sudden jerk or collision. Check the correct operation of the locking mechanism.
