2. The level is checked by the speedometer drive gear. The speedometer drive is located on the gearbox housing.
3. Wipe the area around the speedometer drive, then unscrew the bolt and remove the mounting bracket. Remove the drive from the gearbox housing, and note the oil level on the drive; it should be at a distance of 4-11 mm from the base of the drive gear (photo).
4. If refueling is necessary, pour oil into the speedometer drive hole (photo).
5. Recheck the oil level, and install the speedometer drive, making sure that the drive gear engages correctly.
