Interior finishing panels
1. For fixing interior trim panels, screws, screws, as well as various kinds of clamps and latches are used.
2. Make sure adjacent panels are not overlapping the one to be removed. Usually the panels are removed in a strictly defined order, which becomes quite obvious upon close inspection.
3. Release all of the identified latches and unscrew the screws securing the panel. If after this the panel cannot be removed, it is necessary to carefully inspect it for hidden fasteners. Usually fasteners are located along the outer edge of the panel. To release the panel, moving along its perimeter, carefully pry off the edge with a suitable tool, which is usually a good fit for a fairly large screwdriver with a flat sting. Be careful not to damage the fasteners. Clamps broken during dismantling must be replaced with new ones during assembly.
Note. In some cases, to remove the panel, it is necessary to release the sealing tape along it.
4. Avoid using excessive force when separating the panel. First make sure that all provided fasteners are released and nothing prevents removal.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. All fasteners damaged during dismantling must be replaced. In order to avoid the development of extraneous noise and vibrations during movement, make sure that the installed panel is securely fixed at all fixing points.
Carpet covering
1. The floor of the passenger compartment of the passenger compartment of the vehicle is usually covered with a solid carpet, the edges of which are fixed with screws or clamps similar to those used in decorative trim panels.
2. The procedure for removing the carpet is quite simple, but sometimes it takes a lot of time due to the need to first dismantle various components that interfere with the procedure, such as seats, center console, lower seat belt anchors, etc.
Ceiling upholstery
1. The ceiling upholstery is attached to the roof of the passenger compartment using clips and can only be removed after the preliminary dismantling of various kinds of auxiliary components, such as handrails, sun visors, windshield and fixed windows of the rear windows, adjacent trim panels, as well as sealing tapes for doorways and sunroof.
2. It should be noted that the dismantling of the ceiling upholstery requires certain skills from the performer, and therefore, it would be more correct to entrust the execution of the procedure to car service specialists.
